SALGA North West Provincial Executive Committee to oversee the organisation’s plan of action for the next five years

The South African Local Government Association’s North West office held a Provincial Conference themed “Re-imagination and Refocusing of Organised Local Government in the 5th Term: Intergovernmental and institutional cooperative agility to deliver tangible evidence-based services”, in Mafikeng on 20-21 January 2022.  It is at this conference that the following Councillors, who will oversee SALGA North West’s plan of action for the next five years were elected into these positions:

1. PEC Chairperson: Councillor Khumalo Molefe (Executive Mayor - Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality) - Male
2. 1st Deputy Chairperson: Councillor Stella Mondlane (Speaker - City of Matlosana) - Female
3. 2nd Deputy Chairperson: Councillor Magdeline Nondzaba (Executive Mayor Bojanala Platinum District Municipality) - Female
4. 3rd Deputy Chairperson: Councillor Tshireletso Marabutse (Mayor - Kagisano Molopo Local Municipality)- Female
