SALGA has partnered with LEXIS NEXIS to provide online legal content support to municipalities in good standing. The purpose of providing this content is to:
- Provide internet based access to Provincial Legislation, Regulations and Notices and National Legislation, Regulations and Notices, law reports and case law.
- Raise awareness around draft policy, amendments to legislation and case law to amplify active participation and accountability across all municipalities
- Empower SALGA and its member municipalities to fulfil their mandate and allow coordination of policies and programmes
- Fulfil Systems Act mandate and actively promote Rule of Law
- Create a productive and stable labour environment
